Alliance has verified that Cumberland County residents WITHOUT INSURANCE who would normally go to Roxie Avenue must now go through the emergency room at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in order to be referred to detox and inpatient services.
PATIENT SHOULD ASK FOR CAPE FEAR TO DIRECTLY CONTACT ALLIANCE AND/OR CAROLINA OUTREACH IF DETOXING THROUGH CAPE FEAR IS NOT AN OPTION.
People with insurance need to be declined for services 3 times in order for Alliance to refer the patient to a different detox.
